Songs To Help Kids Memorize Scripture

Share with a friend!

As Christian parents, we know how important it is to teach our children scripture. We have an incredible responsibility to help them memorize scripture, especially if you homeschool with a biblical worldview.

Children’s brains are like sponges. They have the capacity to soak up an insane amount of information in their sweet little brains. When we do catechism with our kids, I’m always amazed at how much they can repeat and retain.

Bible memory for kids doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, it could be fun and exciting! It’s also a great way to help your kids cultivate spending time in their Bible daily, especially when you’re learning the Bible as a family

Learning the Word of God through song is an excellent way to memorize scripture! It will also help their heart, mind, and soul stay focused on Jesus. And one day, they will remember these songs in times of need as they grow in their sanctification.

Wow, you have found a lot of options for Bible memory songs!
With so many in your list, I’m surprised to not see my personal favorite, Jamie Soles. You can listen to his music at Solmusic.ca. I particularly recommend the Kings of Israel, Oh Absalom, and The Song of the Bow among many others. He has some songs that I find annoying in one way or another, but dozens that are pure gold.
May the Lord continue to bless your work!
