What is The Adventum?
The Adventum is an adventure audiobook series that is produced by Wise King Media. This audio adventure aims to provide a Christ-centered, entertaining chronological Bible dramatization. Their three-fold objective is to:
- Identify with past Bible heroes – real people with real struggles – much like us.
- Stir up the imagination and create a deep sense of wonder about biblical stories.
- Ignite a hunger to study God’s Word.
This series has 5 volumes and is about 4 hours per volume and brings God’s story of redemption to life with beautiful background music, sound effects, and professional actors.

How I Used The Adventum
I received Volume One of The Adventum. We listened to it during quiet time reading so instead of each individual child reading their own book, we took a moment to listen to 30-40 minutes at a time a few days a week.
Each of our kids, ages 5-8, eagerly sat and listened attentively. They would say things like “Mommy, I know this story”, or “This is the part when…” as they listened. It was so fun to see them laugh and giggle when Adam was naming all of the animals.
Once time was up for listening, they would say how much they loved it and looked forward to next time!
How Much Is The Adventum?
Volume 1 of The Adventum is available in both a digital download and a physical CD set. It is normally $39.99, however, it is currently priced 50% off at $19.99 plus you can get free shipping in the US by using the code: advcrew22.
My Thoughts On The Adventum
This is such a well-done audiobook series! It’s not a childish audiobook with “kiddy” voices and sounds. It’s actually a dramatized play like you’re in a theatre. It not only kept me engaged but it did for my children too! I also like how the writers kept God’s voice verbatim directly from scripture and didn’t adlib or take creative liberty.
As far as creative liberty with other Biblical accounts, I thought it was well done. I will be adding the remaining volumes to the kid’s Christmas list!
I would highly recommend The Adventum to Christian families looking for engaging and entertaining Christian audiobooks.
