Who doesn’t like a classic Rice Krispy Treat? Around here, we spruce it up a bit with some Fruity Pebbles for Christmastime and turn them into Rice Krispy Trees! 

No need for extra fluff…let’s get right into the recipe!

Rice Christmas Tree Treats

Ingredients for the Fruity Pebble Rice Christmas Trees:

To start, line a cookie sheet with parchment paper; spray the paper with cooking spray. Using a nonstick pot melt butter over low heat then add marshmallows and melt over low heat.  Once incorporated, remove from heat then add salt and vanilla.

Stir in Fruity Pebbles and Rice Krispies; coat completely then pour onto parchment-lined cookie sheet

With oiled hands lightly press into the pan until about ¼ inch thick (not too hard or cookies will be tough)

Allow to cool completely and remove using parchment paper. Using a Christmas tree cookie cutter, cut out and place on a cookie sheet*

Once cut, decorate with your favorite icing and sprinkles!

Yield: 26 Cookies

Soft and gooey Fruity Pebble Rice Christmas Trees kids will love!

Ingredients

  • 5 Tbsp Butter
  • 10 oz. Marshmallows
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 4 Cups Fruity Pebbles
  • 2 Cups Rice Krispies

Instructions

    1. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper; spray paper with cooking spray
      Using a nonstick pot melt butter over low heat
    2. Add marshmallows and melt over low heat
    3. Remove from heat, stir in salt and vanilla
    4. Stir in fruity pebbles and rice krispies; coat completely
    5. Pour into parchment lined cookie sheet
