What is WriteStories by Scriptive?
Since 2023, WriteStories has been helping children learn creative writing by using their imagination, and sharing their unique perspective. With WriteStories, we discovered a tool that not only inspires creativity but also builds confidence and communication skills.
Why WriteStories Was a Game-Changer for Us
We needed a little bit of help in the creative writing department. So, when I first introduced WriteStories to my kids, I was amazed at how quickly they all became engaged. They all took so much pride in crafting their stories and I loved watching them giggle as they wrote their stories. It transformed writing in our home into a creative adventure that my kids look forward to.
Here are some of the standout features that made a difference for us:
- Interactive Illustrations:
The vibrant illustrations captivated my child’s attention immediately. Whether it was a whimsical castle or a bustling space station, these images sparked story ideas faster than I could have imagined.
- Voice-to-Text Technology:
My two younger children loved speaking their ideas into the microphone and seeing their words appear on the screen. It removed the frustration of writing or typing and let their imagination flow freely.
- Customizable Assignments:
I loved how I could tailor assignments to my child’s interests which can make each writing session more exciting.
- Parent Dashboard:
The dashboard is a great feature. It allowed me to see each child’s progress, celebrate when they finished a story, and guide them when they needed help or motivation.
The Impact on My Child
Since using WriteStories by Scriptive, all three of my children have grown so much both as a writer and as a storyteller. After getting comfortable with learning the platform, they’re now more confident in sharing their ideas and proud of the stories they create. Watching their imagination come to life on the screen has been so much fun to watch!

I would love to try this!
Now this is something some of my children would benefit from! I have a writer, but I have others that struggle with spelling, so are very hesitant to write… I love how this breaks that barrier and lets them express their thoughts as they create stories!
I think my children would really love this!
